Materials:

Small amount blue worsted weight yarn

Size H crochet hook

2 small black half-beads for eyes

Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 4 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc (4 sc).

Rnds 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join w sl st in 1st sc (4 sc).

Rnd 4: * (Ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch down, sl st in same ch) twice to make 2 legs, sl st in next ch, rep from * around, fasten off (8 legs).

Weave in ends.

Glue eyes to pencil topper as shown.

Let dry.
