Free Elephant Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amount worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
2 small google eyes
Size: 3″ x 3″
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in same dc, 2 dc in each of next 2 dc, (2 dc, ch 3, sl st) in next dc, fasten off (10 dc and first ear formed).
Second ear: Sk 2 dc to left of 1st ear, join yarn w sl st in next dc, rep as for 1st ear (last 2 dc will be unworked).
Trunk: Ch 7, fasten off.
Sew trunk to center of Rnd 1.
Weave in ends.
Glue eyes to elephant as shown.
Let dry.
