Today I would like to share a crocheted fashion doll hat pattern with you. I call it the “Blue Bonnet”.

Here is the pattern:

Materials:

Small amount worsted weight yarn

Size H crochet hook

Size: Fits an 11 1/2″ fashion doll

Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc (12 dc).

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, * dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, * rep from * to * around, join as before (16 dc).

Rnd 3: (Work this rnd in back loops only), Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (32 dc).

Weave in ends.

I enjoy crocheting things for my little girl’s fashion dolls now and then. I hope to work up a few fashion doll purses within the next few weeks.

I hope all of my readers are well today. I am a bit depressed, as I was looking at some pictures of Patrick Swayze on the cover of one of those tabloids, and he looked just awful. I feel terribly for him. I have always loved him and it is hard seeing pictures of him like that. I know he must be suffering. But, good news. He really told off the press the other day and said there were so many positive things going on in his life right now, and he wishes they wouldn’t focus on the negative things. Go, Patrick!
